    820-00923 20V @ 200mA not turning on

Copied the ROM from the Mac to the Medusa (for the backup). I verified, then cleaned the ME.

    820-00923 20V @ 200mA not turning on

Okay so the medusa programmer just came in the mail :D. I read the basic data, copied over the mac ROM, then cleaned the ME region. Nothing has changed. We are still hovering at 0.2A. Not sure where to go from here.

    820-00923 20V @ 200mA not turning on

Eduardo, Are you saying the only thing that needs to be done is to "clean the ME region" without finding another BIOS to upload to it? Or do I still need to find another BIOS/bin/file to re-write the chip? I also can find any pinouts as to actually hook up the programmer. I have about 4 of...

    820-00923 20V @ 200mA not turning on

Well this is sad sad end to my repair attempt. I can't spend 350$ on a programmer and nobody has even remotely clear instructions on how to do it otherwise.

    820-00923 20V @ 200mA not turning on

I did a little research on attempting that....it looks like a crazy rabbit hole using random people's google drive links. It looks like most people are doing it to remove a password lock or something. What about buying one of these? https://macbiosunlock.com/product/efi-bios-chip . Have you...

    820-00923 20V @ 200mA not turning on

I have several CH341 programmers from my Arduino days, I should be able to figure it out. I'll give it a go and see what happens! What would be the reason for needing to re-program it? IC's aren't supposed to just "forget". I couldn't find a direct link back to the initial burned components so...

    820-00923 20V @ 200mA not turning on

Thank you for the quick response. That gives me some hope that I can get this thing fixed. L7270 is at 1V L7900 is at 1.2V L7960 is at 950mV

    820-00923 20V @ 200mA not turning on

I'd like to know what your input would be on this one. Firstly, I have above average circuitry understanding/skills but I'm definitely no professional. That being said I've never worked on MacBooks and I'm not familiar with how they work. I have an A1706 that had components R6907 & D6902 were...
