I changed the lvds connector and the short went away. The computer works perfect now. Thanks for your help.- Robbie Hamilton

It seems that L9080 pins 1 and 2 were shorted to ground. I removed the lvds connector and the short is now gone. I will replace the connector tomorrow and let you know what I find out.- Robbie Hamilton

Hi guys and gals..... I am new to the repair game but a fast learner. I have a 3115 board that boots perfectly on an external monitor but not on its own screen. The screen energizes but just doesnt show the image. I replaced the backlight driver and the lvds connector looks good. Any ideas on...- Robbie Hamilton
