Ok, what I don't understand is how BKLT_EN can be there, but still no backlight. All other functions are working fine.
Sleep then wake and we have backlight. Restart we have no backlight until sleep / wake.... There must be a way t work around this.

There is no backlight at power on.
Once the MacBook has gone to sleep and is woken, the screen backlight works again.
I don't want to remove the board as I think Apple should deal with this one. However, I'm not sure about the consumer law in the country of original...
