    An update on this: installing Catalina updated the Boot ROM version from MBP91.00D7.B00 to 233.0.0.0.0 (with battery), and now I can remove the battery and the board works normally. In case in helps someone

    External display issue solved, it was corrosion around the mini display port... So only the wake tests problem remain
