[SOLVED]820-2914-B Keyboard and trackpad works for 1 minute, closing and openong lid makes it works again

Both keyboard and trackpad are good, they work for like a minute or a bit more then both stop. I close the lid and open they get back to work for more one minute.

[SOLVED]820-2914-B Keyboard and trackpad works for 1 minute, closing and openong lid makes it works again

[SOLVED]820-2914-B Keyboard and trackpad works for 1 minute, closing and openong lid makes it works again This board is driving me crazy. Anyone experienced this kind of problem? The keyboard and trackpad only works for some time, then i need to close the lid to bring it back.

[SOLVED]820-3642 sees and charges battery but once unplugged turns off.

Did it all as the book! D6905 replaced, machine 100% working.

[SOLVED]820-3642 sees and charges battery but once unplugged turns off.

I've checked R6920 and R6905 and all measures ok. So it leaves me D6905. Unfortunately I don't have this dual diode here, which is SBR0330CW. Can I replace it with a similar component from a different board? For example, I have one BAT30CWFILM here and the specs on the datasheet are similar as...

    PM_SLP_S4_L present too.

    820-2330 No chime

Similar problem on this board. But on U7100 my voltages are different. Already swapped u7100. Nothing abnormally hot. Pin 1: 3,3v Pin 2: 5mv Pin 3: 0.4mv

    820-2330 logic board battery

I was working on this board and had to remove one cap that's very near the little battery it has. Guess what's happened when the battery got hot? Exploded, of course. So now I need to find a replacement but can't get to know which exact model and where to find it. Will attach one pic of the lil'...

Nothing connected to the board. Will proceed with the "nightmare" reball of the SMC. Wish me luck! :D

I can't use another same chip SMC really? Didn't know that it must be from same model board. I thought if it was the same chip it can be used, even saw Louis saying on a video that he used to buy chips with balls from ebay... Are you sure about that? I know SPI rom chips may have some problems...

A1502 820-3476-A no light on charger, U7900 power cycling

I really doubt, this board doesn't show the least sign of corrosion. It failed after a drop, my bet is that there's a crack on one of the processor balls. Anyway, will try reflowing the smc and get back with the resuls. PS: I don't have one of these 980YFE smcs here, just the other type.

I have no PP3V3_S5 becouse U7501 doesn't get S5_PWR_EN. So I got stuck on this loop. Should I inject voltage at some point to see if I can pass on all S5 state rails?

A1502 820-3476-A no light on charger, U7900 power cycling

Got myself into a loophole now. Can't get the P5VS4RS3_EN to get the PP3V3_S4, all the logic aids powered by this won't be funcional.

Not concluded, measured and not present. Will check for the input pch signals and report here.

PM_SLP_S4_L missing, haswell processor. Going to check all the input signals to see if some is missing. But as was a drop that caused the failure, i'm already considering a crack solder ball under the processor.

Swapped U7090, getting 3,42v at PP3V42_G3H. Moving on to check SMC_RESET_L signal.

A1502 820-3476-A no light on charger, U7900 power cycling

No light on charger but PP3V42_G3H is preset and now i'm only getting 1.2v. My guess now is that the buck converter LT3470AED is bad, as it was removed from a donor board.

Working on this board that according to client died after he dropped the computer. Already swapped U7090 but no dice. Board has no signs of water damage. Edit 1: Managed to get pp3v42 stabilized to 0.9v after replacing a cap right before u7100. Then replaced u7100 and the voltage raised to...
