q7055 wasn't switching on, swapped from a donor and now I'm getting 11.6v out was getting 0v before. Light is still not turning orange.
Board had extensive water damage. Backlight fix u9701 and keyboard connector changeout.
Battery is a known good.
Thinks look ok around the u7000 area. I'm measuring 15.67v on charger bgate line, Is that normal for this board? it's around 12.5 on a 3115 I have sitting here.
Going through the rails, everything above pp5v_s5_LDO is stable, PP5v_s5_LDO jumps a bit when the fan pulses, from 4.89vto 5v. Every voltage below that pulses. Everything appears to be trying to come on. Is there a standard way of attacking 1/4 fan spin?
Board reads 0.005 short to ground in diode mode 4.99 ohms in resistance mode. If I inject voltage, it draws a hair over 1 amp, but nothing gets hot. CPU gets warm. Any pointers?
