Hi 2informaticos, Just wanted to say thank you. I did give the UC another shot and it did fix it. As easy as that... ;-) Cheers!

820-3787 Not booting after changing FDMF6808N chips

I was about to do one myself this morning but I am quite afraid now to do so. Since it is only not able to boot, what does ASD EFI points out?

    A1534 board issues

I had the same issue but it was random. I don't believe you can confirm that the UC did the job. It might have fix temporarily in my opinion or you are lucky with this board. CPU is usually bent on the edge which is the problem...

820-3332 - PECI sensors jumping from 60 to 100 degrees Celsius in OS

Board was already UC so I'll try heating the CPU with a pre-heater + hot air. Let's see! Nothing to loose anyway... Thanks for your answer!

820-3332 - PECI sensors jumping from 60 to 100 degrees Celsius in OS

Hi, I just did that I am getting 129 degrees oneach PECI sensors. I also did replace everything single component between the SMC and this CPU line but same thing, values jumping from time to time between 60 degrees (system is running normal) to 100 degrees (system slows down) To me, the CPU...

820-3332 - PECI sensors jumping from 60 to 100 degrees Celsius in OS

Hi, I have that 820-3332 which came apparently only for a GPU issue as it was getting no pictures. Customer also told me the computer would sometimes shutdown but he thought it was the battery. So I re-did the joints around U8900 and reflowed the area and then got a picture. However once I...

    820-00165 No camera detected

Thanks! Camera is still not detected. Possibly it's a camera issue (not the camera itself as I've tested it already with a different board)? How can I confirm the ME Region is fine despite the camera being not detected please?

JohnB8812 Thanks! I get your point, it makes complete sense. Does anyone have tried this method yet and can confirm it won't last?

820-00045 with bent CPU (graphic glitches)

Hi, I've got that MacBook 12" with graphic glitches. I've understood that it is related to the CPU or RAM On this one, you can clearly see that the CPU is concave now and that on the edge of it some balls are physically not making contact with the board. I've seen the video of that Korean guy...

    820-00165 No camera detected

Ok, thanks for getting back. Yes I can confirm that with a dump from a different 2017 board will turn on and load OS. Just general ME region issues like camera... However I am not using this dump (this one was taken from Ghostlyhaks) but another dump from a known working board that I have as a...

Thanks but none worked properly. 1st one won't even turn on the machine. Fan spins but no image, brain dead, even after SMC reset. PRAM won't work. 2nd one, I can't even get the USB ports to detect my external drives. I've tried 2 different ones.

    820-4924 Another brain dead board

Resistor was R7279 near U7200. USB adaptor just gets power, no blinking whatsoever. PRAM reset won't work, no chime, USB light stays on. I've just did try a clean ME bios found on the forum board with no difference.

MacBook Air came up with liquid damage near clock/bios chip, not starting. This is 2017 model with 1.8Ghz, 8GB RAM. Bios was already replaced by the previous shop with a 2015 bios version. Came back unfixed. Clock chip area was seriously messed up by liquid. I had to run many wires and replace...

    820-4924 Another brain dead board

ok, I got that board from eBay (maybe the seller is from this forum, who knows... ;-) ) Looked too good to be true. Anyhow, it looked mint on the auction pictures and it does also under the microscope. Only one resistor was detached but I did re-attached it (maybe during transport) CPU_VCore is...
