I asume capacitors will read 1 direction and not the other.
Resistors are Black in color? Caps areBrown or do I have to use schematics.
Using Fluke meter but hard to hold component steady without it flying away.

I did a search for the R5413 on other logic boards I have and it comes back with a single resistor.
Can this be ordered off mouser? or is there a substitute search or parts?

I left the heat sync on to protect the chips. Hope the solder under the CPU is ok.
Ill check the schematic to find what resistor to replace it with. R5413

Replaced capacitor using schematic and your video.
now MacBook Pro 15 2010 in constant reboot.
am I using the wrong part? I believe th cap is proper orientation.

I changed out the top case but keep the same trackpad cause liquid spill. Ends up Top can was not compatible.DA

I cleaned the connector w scrubbing bubble and checked the connections. All checkout.
I had to order a cable from logic board to trackpad from my Apple Authorized Guy using serial number but numbers are as follows.
Original one 593-1604-B 14.05.19
New one 593-1604-B 16.11.30

I have a MacBook Air 1466 EMC 2632 customer spilled beer on it and fried the Trackpad/Keyboard cable connector. Part has much plastic so I assume I can't remove it without melting the plastic.
