tryed PRAM reset, but not better.
it only turns on if i press the power button within 2 seconds 2 times. after 3 seconds the first led turns off and on again
I had the same problem and want to complete this thread
PM_PWRBTN_L 3.41V and drops to about 0V by pressing power button
PM_SLP_S4 is directly after plug in the power cord 3.41V
PM_SLP_S3 is directly after plug in the power cord 3.41V as well
all S3 voltages listed in the schematics are present...
I have now found out the following.
1. the displays A2442 and A2779 are fully compatible.
2. if I connect the good complete display to the patient mainboard, everything works perfectly. if I now unplug the backlight, I have the same as with the purchased displays. It does not boot
3. if I...
I now have a display from a known good supplier
The chips have not yet been re-soldered, the display is out of the box
the backlight does not come on
the dong can be heard
the apple can be seen after a few seconds it boots up again and after a few more attempts a circle with an exclamation...
i tried that. i made a backup beforehand. but i couldn't manage to solder on another module, despite the bga machine. In the end, the whole board stopped working. I then took another one for the customer and migrated his data.
I got an A2779 which has a black display. External monitor works.
I connected a working display that works fine. of course it has the ghost problem.
So I thought the display was defective. I ordered two displaypanels then I disassembled a display of this series for the first time and replaced...
sorry, i was in vacation
no still in diagnostic, would be great to find the problem
it have to be in the board because the 2 nands for 2 tb i desoldered from this problem board straight in another good board and there running dfu without problem
i tried it with HighSierra beacuse i have an installation stick but start from external SSD with HighSiera shows the prohibition sign.
Installation USB with High Sierra the same
I checked now all landing pads from the 2 nands in diode mode, they are all with the values in the openboard data
now i soldered the original back, run dfu revive, in this moment when it will write on the nands it is restarting (can see in amp meter
5V 250mA
then load the software
unzip the...
now i got a good 820-2020 board
i soldered the 2tb NANDs out from the problem board and directly in the good board.
nothing changed, all procedures the same
in dfu comes the progress bar and seems all good
so what the hell is in the board. is it possible that the nand power is bad from one of...
i swapped the nands and chose the 2TB version. i have done this many times but with this device i always get 4013 as an error in the dfu. the position is correct, i have checked this by desoldering and reading, the content is also exactly the same as the source file.
Then I soldered the...
ok, yes right.
By the way. I have the same model where the client needs the data.
if i transplant the ssd in same position from the (client with data) to this board. after this brisge os (revive) will i can read the data out?
can have this sucess?
using restore i get the Error 0xFAD 4013, found theat:
4013 / 6 - errors indicate bad NAND Sysconfig or wrong position.
that means for me i have to solder out the nands and flash with p13 the firmware, solder back and try then with DFU to flash the bridge OS
is that logical for you?
