    Macbook Air M1 A2337 820-02016

It was pretty fried anyway so maybe the damage has already been done? I don't have a donor board for this model, I may have to write it off as a non fixable.

    Macbook Air M1 A2337 820-02016

Can I just run a wire for L8300 or could you suggest an alternative from any board <2017? Have I potentially damaged U8100?

    Macbook Air M1 A2337 820-02016

Yes I did, I have no scrap boards available with a similar coil. I farmed L5001 from a 820-00840 3V3_S5 line

    Macbook Air M1 A2337 820-02016

This Macbook came in with customer stating they had powering/charging issues with one of the ports, now it won't power from both USB-C. After replacing both CD3217 chips and still getting 5V 0.016A I checked the surrounding caps around them and found CF400/CF500 PP3V3_S2 low at .560V. On further...

820-01700 Not charging, works with battery

I've reflowed everything on that side, still no joy. I'm awaiting new CD3217 but I feel I'm wasting my time on this board now. Would it be worth replacing ALL the CD3217s? I only originally replaced the two on the side where one was faulty/getting hot.

820-01700 Not charging, works with battery

OK, I attempted DFU restore with original apple charger and Thunderbolt 3 cable, all I get every attempt is: 'Gave up waiting for device to transition from DFU to DFU state [com.apple.MobileDevice.MobileRestore - 0FCA (4042)] . Target Macbook is at 20V 0.066A most of the time. Should I reflash...

Changed CB300 with same outcome. I have ordered some USON-8 templates from PCBWay, do you have a dump for U2890/UB090 or know of firmware dump source?

820-01700 Not charging, works with battery

Hi all, I'm new (posting) to the forums so please be gentle. This 16" Macbook came in not charging, was running on battery but all but one USB-C port were registering voltage of 20V 0A. UB300 was getting warm and showing 5V/0V on each side of its USB-C connector. I replaced the CD3217B and now...
