Alright man, here's the thing, I have theboard out of the machine. Lid is of course open according to that Hall effects switch. However I did have a neo-d magnet that was next to it. It's for holding screws. I don't think I could replicate it again if I tried. Smc_lid is 3.42 now. (Palms face)...
Have a 3662 with display, but no backlight. U7701 has bklt_en_r u7750 has no voltage on bklt_en_r_jerry... Display works on exterior monitor, soup was spilled on device, but shop sent it through USC, so no evidence of corrosion. Looks clean. have 5 v at L8300 too
I do have 3.3v at pin 18 and 19. I ran ASD on external monitor and of course it says no issues. I haven't tried another screen yet, as unfortunately I do not have a test one laying around anymore... sounds more like a bad screen doesn't it?
When I turn it on, it makes the dark screen a bit brighter. The apple on the lid lights up as well. It does not display as a white screen. Before I changed the LP8550, it had nothing at all. Now the screen at least gets a little lighter (indicating backlight), and the apple lights up.
Can't garauntee the board software and files are error free. Already found a couple incorrect placements for the 3209 board view file. Was just checking. No image though, backlight DOES work.
Have this 820-3209. Corrosion around lp8550, pretty bad. Removed LP8550, cleaned corrosion, noticed all pads looked fine but pin 13 was badly corroded and became shitstain. Used boardview to check where it's connected, no net. It doesn't seem to be connected to anything but has designation...

larossmann Im with ya, resistor should be zero ohms... it is infact not... I thought I checked it, but evidently I cant count. Will report back after... My apologies for being stupid.
have a different 0065 that intermittently goes in to sleep mode, boots, all is well, then sleeps. It is also effected when I close the lid without shutting it the all way. Tried new TP. Didn't help. Ideas? (TP works btw)
yes there is voltage on all, and resistance checks out. It seems as thought it was liquid damaged, but the shop before me US cleaned it... They dont mess with the board beyond that though.
