I have voltage on pins 1, 2, 3 but no voltage at 6 or 7. Same scenario, I change it out, and it gets broiling hot. checked the legs, and no short to ground. I highly doubt its the actual component as I have tried a couple different ones.

Yes green light on charger, 0 at pin 5 3.3 at the EN pin I think it was an internal short as the component got hot as hell and burned me.

have a 3437 with slow frame rate. Thing was full of rice indicating the user probably liquid damaged it. Needed a new battery, but the frame rate is really slow and doesn't look like the board has damage on it. Tpad connections are all fine with no sign of liquid to them. Any ideas?

Have a whole stack of 1398 retina displays. Some need LCD, some need LCD and Bklt. Is the blot repairable on these? I know they're a major pain in the ass.
