Very clean board. No corrosion anywhere and only minor dust. Green/amber light but no life. No response to SMC bypass. Checking the rails everything looks good down to pp5v_s5 which is bouncing around from 3v-4.4v. PPVIN_S5_P5V is solid at 12.58v. Almost everything else on U7501 is bouncing...

r6128 pin 1 trace and u6100 trace to r6123 were severed. Couldn't determine visibly, only by testing. Working now. Thanks for your help.

Big coils like L7320 are cycling. I guess I missed this. No fan FYI. u1950 pin 7 is the same but pin 3 cycles only to .18v not as high as the others.

^this is how I tested the board. With the exception of flex cable. Same results without it.

3V3_S5/SUS - both are 3.3v smc bypass was tried while in the case and from the board. Weird symptom - I get amber magsafe without I/O cable attached. This normally doesnt happen.

I get a light on USB device on this side but no data. Left side is fine. Board appears clean other than very minor corrosion around C7336 and some gunk in left side USB (removed). Replaced i/o board and both cables with known good. Same function in boot menu/OS.

Does that have firmware? You don't seem very optimistic.. Worth trying u9800 first?

I do not get any pulse on PP3v3/ PP5V_S0SW_LCD with display connected or without. I do get PP3v3/ PP5V_S5 on u8500/01 and other S0 rails. Does this point to u8500/01/10 for creation of S0SW_LCD?
