Does anyone have any experience repairing these? The screen will not turn on. No light in front led. I do not have schematics for this one, but I have tried to google if this is a common issue. It seems like there is a lot of these displays with similar symptoms which leaves me thinking there...

Macbook pro A1278 2011, 820-2936 random shut down issue

Check the CPU side if any of the outer pins along the RAM slot are loose. Tilt it under the microscope and gently try to wiggle each pin to see if it is loose, most often they start loosening on one of the sides.

[SOLVED]820-2879 Beeping, no image (not RAM issue)

I think it was four or five beeps and the silent. I have replaced the BIOS now and it booted up fine. My problem now is that my only 820-2879 donor board was missing the BIOS chip and i pulled one of a 2010 White logic board instead. Is there a way to re-flash this BIOS inside the computer? I...

[SOLVED]820-2879 reboots halfway to OS X

Got this board today. Had no green light, some corrosion around 6990. Repaired the Onewire circuit and got green light. When I now try to boot, the MBP reboots halfway through the loading process. It acts the same with both SATA and USB. ASD EFI shows no errors. When I try to install from USB...
