A small breakthrough, i saw one corroded pin at the diagnostics port, so I removed it. Sorry I did't notice sooner. Now it has orange/green light an no high fan spin :)
Got this MacBook Air 2014 today. It is slightly water damaged, I can see some corrosion around U5450 (replaced this) and at the trackpad cable (cleaned this one).
It turns on when connecting the charger, the fan spins high all the time. It only has green light some of the time, it does not see...
Thank you, I have already tried with other batteries and without the battery indicator. I have never replaced SMC and do not have equipment for it. I do however have some boards with SMCs on them.
I guess I will need to re flash the BIOS as well if I just replace the SMC? Do I need to re-ball...

No it only worked sometimes, like I said in the first post. I would mostly start up run for a while and then seem dead for a couple of hours or until the next day and then start again. I was fairly gentle when warming the GPU, so I don't think i killed it (or killed it more than it already was)...
Had some time to look at this again, roasted the graphics card a bit, but the iMac seems completely dead won't start at all. I don't have schematics for this, do you know what else than the motherboard or PSU that can keep this computer from starting?
