Both sides the same 0.106, which is what I get everywhere i measure PM_SLP_S3_L when i press the power button. It raised from 0 to 0.1V when button is pressed. One more thing i wrote the wrong value i the first post it should be 0.078-0.1V.
Got one more of these old 820-2530 boards. I have all main power rails and I have PM_SLP_S4_L. When pressing power I only get 0,78V on PM_SLP_S3_L should be 3.3 I think.
There is no short to ground and all the enable resistors and capacitors on this line is fine.
Is this bad SMC?
One more question here, I have a cracked but functional 13" 2011 monitor, can I use this when testing display output across all models or do I need to change the LVDS cable between +-2013 boards?
I had some time again to look over this board, and I have come a bit further, I still can't get it to go into an S0 state. Both Q8150 and U8160 where missing pads.
R8165 was open and Pin 6 on Q8150 was missing.
Do anyone have any clue on what to check for next?
Have an older MacBook Pro with 820-2530.
The board measures fine as far as I can tell, but I don't get ALL_SYS_PWRGD
On U7870 Pin 3, 5 and 6 all measures the correct voltages but Pin 8 is at 0V
I have some difficulties figuring out how the ALL_SYS_PWRGD circuit works, ca anyone enlighten me?
I have tossed out my old 1970's Oscilloscope because it took up a lot of space on my desk. I'm now looking for a new one. Any suggestion on what to buy? Don't want to spend more than I need :)
