Machine turns on and chimes and will boot to desktop. Charges, etc... just fine.
This machine has the fans running full speed.
I've run ASD and I get these sensor errors:
TA0P -- Ambient Air Sensor (ERROR - SMC IO FAILED)
TA1P -- DC-IN Proximity for Airflow (ERROR - SMC IO FAILED)
TC0P -- CPU...
Looks like the two fans I tried in place were also bad... I put one from a 2012 15" retina and it spins. I then tried the left side fan into the right side and it also spins (and the 15" retina and the left side fan also spin together.)
Looks like it is just a bad fan... not sure how that...
Left (spinning high speed, due to not plugged in to track pad/keyboard etc...)

I have a late 2012 13" retina 820-3462 board.
Liquid damage.
All this machine seemed to need was a good cleaning and a new battery.
All was working well. Passed all ASD tests and BOTH fans were spinning. Machine was completely acting normal. All power rails present and accounted for. I was...
And the machine's powers from battery and/or charger just fine. If the computer works this well, other than fan, would you suspect a bad SMC? PPN001 power management, I did just see some corrosion on the I/O board. Don't have a spare. Could an I/O board be causing all of this. The 820-00165-A...
I have a 2015 MacBook Air that runs "fine" other than the fan runs high as soon as you turn it on.
When it boots, Keyboard, trackpad, wifi, Bluetooth, etc.. all work the way they should (and doesn't seem to be running slowly.) I've looked over the board and don't see liquid damage (doesn't look...
There were two liquid indicators by the LCD connector that were tripped, but I could replace them with none tripped ones from another machine. I had contacted Apple initially about the graphics "recall" for these machines and they sent me a box to send it in to them. I saw you mentioned for the...
Yes, the LCD is plugged in and you can see an "image" (It is cracked, so you see it come on with lines, instead of the boot Apple logo, When shining light through rear Apple Logo on LID)
I'm looking at page 78 of my schematic "KEPLER GPIOS, CLK, & STRAPS" and it looks like it is trying to say...
Fuse is good. I have 11.4V on each side. LCD_BKLT_EN is not present.

820-3332-A 2012 MacBook Pro, No Backlight
I have verified it is no backlight and not no video. Shining a light through the Apple logo, I can see an image (well the LCD is busted, so lines appear.) Video also displays correctly on an external display.
I have measure Backlight output and I get...
Actually it was the test point... When I had cleaned the resistor and capacitor, I had added enough solder where it came into contact with the barely-there test pad. So it was still measuring 3.417V, when I just replaced the resistor and capacitor and tried to make my solder job "OEM"-like, no...
