L7260 is flashing 0 volts to 3.3v back to 0 and just cycling this. reminds me of a blinking light. on and off consistently.
3V3S5_EN going from .34 to 1.2 to 3.4 and cycling through them over and over.
cpu vcore is .81 volts when the system cycles on it starts at 1 volt but within a second it goes to .8 and stays there until it cycles again. sorry had this one to the side for a wile now. working my way through the stacks today is 17" boards. also wanted to note that this does not charge the...
got in a 820-2849 appears to have been cleaned. ppbus_g3h giving me 7.65-8.5v with charger plugged in. it bounces around slowly from 8-7 or 6v and then back up to 8 something. battery only is 1.5-2 volts. and it wont stay a steady voltage. checked the res on pin 27-28 and 17-18 on isl swapped...
oh, i was looking at other boards and saw the number on the smc is different. do the speeds of the board also matter? 2.4 2.5 2.6 2.8? or do they just need to be the same board number so 820-2850 will work for all 820-2850's? I understand now what your saying about the chips could be from any...
i'm not sure my Question was understood correctly, I am aware the smc is Identical to each board number, i checked the smc and i need the F2117LP20H V for a stack of the Same model boards i have on the shelf. wondering if this supplier is selling legit chips. But aprendiz said he bought...
okay smc was the problem. changed it out and have an orange light. also was wondering if this supplier is good or if you have one you are willing to recommend for smc chips. i need 4 chips and only have 3 donor boads instock. also for the price seemed great for pre balled chips whats your...
got a 2850 with green light, check system info and battery not being detected. it will run off the battery, and i have voltage on SMBUS_SMC_BSA R5280 R5281 have 3.39v pin 1 and 3.38volts on 2 its the same for both. and every spot it shows up on the board i checked. res is good 1.746 in diode...
checking out around the gpu and found about 3 or 4 solder balls stuck to the edge bonding so i think that is the obvious culprit right there. unfortunately i do not have a BGA rework station at this time to fix this. But at least we figured it out.
Many thanks, Cheers Mate!
also great to know! i do have quite a few 2850 donor board to pull from. i guess i also wouldn't be surprised to find something missing on the board. this board came in pretty bad liquid damaged and not sure what they did to the thing but it had the cdrom connector torn off the board, and some...
appears to have no chime, my external connector seems to be broken, Tested it on a few other computers with no luck. so i cannot confirm if it is working on external or not. will order a new one.
USB drive is working.
0.8V on PPVCORE_S0_CPU
haha yeah agreed.
okay i only have a signal on pin 2, and pin 5 LCD_bktl_en is not there.
res between q9806 pins 3 and 4 = 305.6K. in diode mode gives me nothing.
l9560 = 1.37v
l8920 = .93v
l7530 = 1.15v
Thanks you tons for the help you probably have no idea how much it means to me! :)
okay good to know thanks for that info ALB. Not sure where dukes instructions are unless you just confused philipc with duke. either way i will look into the lvds connector. I know the screen is good because i just tested a few other board on it that are working.
