    Just an update, I have fan spin after replacing u7100 and the voltage that used to be 1.3 v is now 8.2v, am rebuilding the computer to see if it will work properly.

    Around u7100 looks good, f7140 not blown resistance to ground on PPBUS_G3H is 166 ohms CHGR_RST_L beeps @ 3ohms PP5V1_CHGR_VDD there PP5V1_CHGR_VDDP there c7150 beep like it is a filter though...

    820 3588 Replaced: FB8108 and f8100 U8102 is shorted to ground when beeping between ground and pin 5 from the board view Looking at the schematic it is actually PGND and not GND so is this still a short to ground that need removing or is this OK ad the fault is somewhere else? Thanks

    I have a new board and cable, but before that: C1084 and everything on that line (ppvcc _s0_cpu) is shorted to ground a I don't see anything else on that line so is this game over for the processor?
