Hi guys,
so I have this macbook here and it have 3 problems. History not available, no water damage.
1) Touch bar not working, changed with known functional touch bar
2) Critical software update
3) Graphic errors on display and external display, no errors when in safe mode
According to the...
Thanks for replay. There is no really history, over night this error appeared. Nothing special, no water, no drop. I changed the board 1:1 in other shell so battery, display touch pad and all other things were different. Today I have disconnected the display and conected to external monitor...
So I have here this macbook pro 15" A1990 which produces this error codes in the diagnose mode. The fans are spinning high and the macbook is very slow. What I read about this error, that changing the touch pad will solve this. So I put this mainboard in an second functional macbook and the...
Do you have an idea where can I buy all schematics in a package for all iPhone, iPad and MacBook? Some weeks ago I found a site where this was possible but cannot find it now.
Hi,
I have exact same board and exact same measurments like hgoncalves. With battery and usb-c plug it drains about 0,4A and 15V. Board is getting hot in the cpu area. My question is now (nothing to loose) what does ist mean reflow the entire board? Really the entire board or only the cpu area?
Yes. After cleaning the J6100 I connected the AC Adapter and the light was amber on the Magsafe. After that I put back the other parts checked the voltages and reassembled the macbook. Thank you again!
omg i cannot believe, I cleaned up the connector J6100 and now we have this voltages:
PPBUS_G3H = 8,2v
PP3V3_S5 = 3,3v
PP3V3_SUS = 3,3v
PP3V42_G3H = 3,42v
SMC_PM_G2_EN = 3,42v
SMC_ADAPTER_EN = 3,42v
PM_BATLOW_L = 3,3v
SMC_RESET_L = 3,38v
I reassembled the macbook and voila this thing works...
I got this on C5126 Pin 1 but this is PP3V3_S5_AVREF_SMC
PP3V3_S5 = 0,00v on C8130 Pin 1 so this line is not present
After plug in charger 3V3_S5 raises slowly from 0,00volts to 14,7miliVolts in about 2 minutes, checked with oscilloscope
PP3V42_G3H = 3,42v is present on R7095 Pin 1
PPBUS_G3H...
Ok I made a measurment fault. In OpenBoardview I had to tick the option "whole" because if search PP3V3_S5 it shows me all the other lines on the board with all prefixes even if I click on the PP3V3_S5, sorry my fault. So the 3V3_S5 is not present
Edit: The short to ground on C8020 Pin 1 is...
The 3V3_SUS is produced from U8020 but on the U8020 PP3V3_S5 is 0,00v. How can it be that the same line on the one side of the board is present and on the other not present?
