again it turned on randomly. i hist plug in the battery and it starts - dont even need to press power button. Only 1 fan spinning now at Max and other not spinning. I even flashed the smc firmware with the matching board number. THe heat sink is way too hot. cannot even touch.

Replaced. Didnt work. What to do now

Randomly cleaning the board and heating it up and then turning it on. It was on and worked for a good 1-2 hours till the battery dried up. Then i tried charging or starting it up. it went back to no fan spin. Can it be SMC issue ?

Fan Spins/Pulses always irrespective of whether you trigger SMC_ONOFF_L or not. Currently the fan isnt pulsing but ALL_SYS_PWRGD pulses every 5 seconds. So does PM_SLP_S4_L

Yes there is drop in pulse. Same behavior is SMC bypass mode as well. Fan spins and off and spins and off.

Yes at that moment all voltages appear. very briefly

When i shut down the mac and turn it on. Certain keys wont work while entering the password. Now if i close and open the LID. the same keys start working and i can enter my account. No liquid spill. the keys which are working are also not giving the correct input. For example is "S" is working...

For my reference SSRB2 Device came in certain resistors misisng. R5115 etc. Installed them back. Now i get magsafe and random fan spin for 1-2 seconds. Draws upto 300mAh and drops and again up. PPBUS is 8.59. PM_SLP_S4_L is missing. ALL_SYS_PWRGD pulsing as well.

3V3_S5 is present. I got a fan spin for about 5 seconds. during that time SUS was present. Then it dropped to 0V

Never Mind. C9087/88/90/91 short is gone. Let me put back the TPS see.

C9081 was corrodded and shorted. Removed the Cap. Short is gone. 2v5_nand_ssd0 is shorted. Removed TPS62180 still shorted. Bad SSD? any chance of injecting voltage and seeing?

Device was working but suddenly went off. PPBUS at 12.56V. No Fan Spin. PM_SLP_S4_L and PP5V_S3 missing.

All rails diode mode readings are ok.

Resolved by adjusting R7095

SCL/SDA is .550 . You want voltages or diode or both from Page 37
