    820-01521 20V wont boot

Board had small liquid damage on C8101 (PPBUS was shorted, replaced cap and there is no short). U7210/30 are affected by liquid as well. Detected in DFU and restore done without any errors. No chime, no light on caps lock. Board only connected to charger have 20V and 0.08A (CPU get lettile...

    820-01814 error 4014. NAND?

Cant find and corrosion on the board. At the start I had 5V from charger. Tried to "revive" in DFU and had error 21. Tried restore and had error 4014. I reflashed SoC ROM and have 20V from charger but still cant restore it. Error 4014. Looks like faulty NAND?

    820-00850 drain battery

G3S voltage are present in off state when on charger only and when on battery only. I dont have good board around me at the moment. I have similar board which is working fine 820-00923. Is G3S line like S5 or S4 state?

    820-00850 drain battery

Cant find any corrosion on the board. Tried three batteries and on all of them have the issue. Mac drain battery when in sleep or even turned off. In the evening battery level around 60% and in ther morning battery is 0%. Same issue will three batteries. I removed the board, connected battery...

    820-00850 no KBD, no TPAD

No luck. When checking voltage to J6701 do I need do it with connecter trackpad? Found something strange near U6860 R6871/1 have 3.3V but R6870 have 0V and have short (0.001 in diode mode) on R6870/1. How is that possible? Thats the same line which have R6871/1 which have correct voltage? Can...

    820-01521 5V 0A

Changed U7800 twice, and same issue. All voltage did not change. My another idea was to re-flash U2890. When shield was removed there saw bad corrosion on U2890. Re-flashed it and same issue. Replaced and re-flashed another U2890 and still the same issue. There is tiny hot spot on U7800 every...

    820-00850 no KBD, no TPAD

Customer tried replace battery on his own. I found one of the UB400 had short on PP3V3_UPC_TB_LDO. Replaced UB400 and it boot now but no KBD/TPAD Tried with known good TPAD with flex and same issue. I found there was no diode mode readings on J6701/17 (TPAD_3V3_SPI_EN). Replaced U6855 and...

Board with heavy liquid damage for data recovery. Every couple of seconds there is tiny amp spike on charger. U3100/200 LDOs have correct voltages. PPBUS 12.26V PP3V3_G3H 3.30V U7000: P_IN 5.14V AUX_DET 1.28V SMC_RST_IN 0.0V (0.586 in diode mode) VDDA 5.12V VDDP 5.12V AMON 0V BMON 0V...

    820-00239 5V 0A-0.25A cycle

OK, big mistake was made by me. One of my USB C power meters has been accidentally switch to W instead of A. Correct reading from charger: 5V and 0A - 0.04A cycles. PPBUS_G3H on F7000/1 have 0.013V Apologise for confusion.

All looks fine around Q7030. Rwplaced U7000 and same issue. Any chance one or more CD3215 is/are faulty?

    820-00239 5V 0A-0.25A cycle

Got 5V on charger and 0A, every few seconds it go to around 0.25A (so should switch to 20v) and then back to 0A. Cant find any corrosion. PPBUS 0.02V (0.440 in diode mode) Removed F7000 and still on F7000/1 got 0.02V. All diode valus on LDOs around all CD3215 are correct. Voltages are correct...
