Hi , i have this motherboard there was corrosion on c5008-c5007-c5002 i replaced them from a donor board and get 3.4v again , trouble is when i plug the power in i get no screen no chime but i get fan spin, it draws 0.4 amps for 20 sec then shuts off then starts backup and goes from 0.4 up to...

Checked U8080 no voltage on any pin and R5530 looks like 4 pads with no voltage either. As you can tell i am quite lost .

pin 18 16.4 kilo ohm .pin 5 16.66 kilo ohm. PP5V_S0_BKLT is not present.

D7710 pin 1 0.879 and pin 2 1.189. u7700 pin 5 0v pin 18 0v pin 17 0v pin 11 0.183v

Back again :) so i got the new dc board and genuine charger all is good there. the mac fires up and i can see a faint pic so backlight problem there ' the main issue is the charger light is flickering and not powering the machine or charging the battery.i have checked PP18V5_DCIN_CONN power rail...

I have this macbook with no backlight and not charging. I have taken the board out plugged the charger in and it blows the p7 transistor on the dc in board, when the board is in the machine it dosnt show a light when plugged in and it dosnt blow the p7 , only when the board is out of the machine...

Thanks for the reply missed a bad fuse all working now. I admit i was a bit fast putting power threw, but i did do it gradually.

Hi, got this macbook yesterday smelled burnt wipped out the board found 2 ned av7 at C7375 and C7376 burned and broken so replaced those no fan spin. checked r5450 getting 0.8v instead of 8v not sure where to go from here hoping for some help. ok just checked and thought i had a short on sys...
