Great! Have changed U8180 though, but I guess must be a bad one still. I will try another U8180 tomorrow and give you feed back on it... have a good one champ.

On U8180: Pin 1 and 2 read 1.21V, Pin 3 is GND, Pin 4 the troublesome guy reads 0V and Pin 5 reads 3V.

    No!i have 1.21V on pin 1 and 2. Only pin 5 reads 3V

Yes I did. But no 0V at PM_SLP_S3_BUF_L still

Oh thanks. I just noticed that every Components on PM_SLP_S3_BUF_L power line are givBig 0V but components before PM_SLP_S3_BUF_L Read their actual Volts. Just trying to get a better understanding of the messages diff schematics are trying to pass

Just curious. "PM_SLP_S3_BUF_L” produces P5VS0_EN right?

    R8178 reads 3.32V. i'm surprised why I get 3.32V on R8178 and PM_SLP_S3_L pin 1 and 2 will read 1.21V. What's missing here?

pin 1 and 2 reads 1.21, pin 5 reads 3.32 but pin 4 reads 0V... Does it mean that my case is a rare one?

It has been changed but the same thing. P5VS0_EN still missing. PM_SLP_S3_BUF_L still 0V.

There is power at pin 5 - 3.3V. Does that mean I go ahead with the replacement?

Hello Dear friend, I'm skeptical about replacing the suspected chip (U8180). Considering a basic note on Rossman's Training guide that pointed not to replace IC that does not have voltage at an"Enable" pin, the pin may have not been told to come on. If yes can you please identify chip...
